I do not think some of the other reviews here give this restaurant any justice. I have lived in Woodbridge all my life and my family has always gone to the same Chinese food place. I on an adventure decided to try Mr. Hunan. I’m hooked. The service is nice. The woman will more than gladly refill your water; she is very sweet and polite. The food always comes out hot and tasty. I am fond of the Hunan beef, and they have amazing sweet and sour pork. The ambiance of the restaurant it lovely, it looks a little run down yet classy. It’s almost always empty so you never have to wait. The dishes are never skimpy they are loaded. Now some of the dishes are to be ordered with caution. Their hot and sour soup leaves to be desired. It tastes fine, but kinda greasy. There wasn’t much meat in the soup or for that matter much of anything in it. Sometimes if you get any of their seafood, it may still smell of the sea, but the taste is still good. Over all I would recommend it for a nice dinner for two or even for a get
together with families and friends. |
