I have been going here of about 10 years and after my visit 02/14/13 dont think i will ever go back the worst experance at a restaurant i have ever had. Food was very bad roaches on the wall,I paid my $50 and when i expressed my concerns to the young lady at the door I couldnt believe that she actually said (we have had a lot of this going on here)I would get someone else at that exit position if this was my Restaurant.I just dont know what to say just a very very bad experance please do something i am sure this is happening to others as well all i think about is people travling thur town and stopping thank god we have other places in town to save ELGIN name i hope. |

My husband and I eat here very often because we like the food. It's down-home comfort food and is always hot and fresh. The building looks like it needs some repair here and there (it's just old/low overhead) but is clean overall. The service is a little slow (probably because they keep the staff to a minimum so they can keep the prices low.) All-in-all, it's pretty good food, close to home, and has a laid-back atmosphere. Worth the try if you haven't been. |
