This is a follow up to the previous review. I just received a call from the General Manager of Sweet Magnolias, a very nice woman named Donna. She promptly returned a phone call which I had placed earlier. I informed her about the previous night and our disappointment with our dining experience. She apologized vehemently and told me this is definitely not the norm. They were staffed short by two waitress' due to illness and one cook due to a death in the family, and this was an unusually busy night. She has offered to buy us dinner on a night convenient for us, again apologizing. Due to her professional and and courteous follow up to my complaint, we will give Sweet Magnolias another try. Hopefully, this was just a night where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. We'll let you know after we go again. |
